i love your menu. the french toast should keep perfectly if it's a baked one. i love baked stuff at brunches.

i disagree with the meat people, but i don't like meat at brucnh.

If you have fruit skewers lose the fruit salad. Swap a massaged kale salad. If you google that there is a great recipe who mango and pumpkin seeds from food network. Super easy and yummy.

For that many people, you need more protein. I'd do more quiches and probably one egg dish that doesn't have flour in it. Many people have issues with wheat or are gluten free, and there's nothing for them except some fruit and crudités. I also like the suggestion of the ham.

+1. I immediately pictured distracted parents breaking up sword fights.
OP how about yogurt and granola? Easy and gives ppl a lot of options - add fruit, it's fairly healthy, lots of kids will eat vanilla yogurt.

Good question, I don't know if the french toast would keep- maybe I'll eliminate the french toast, and keep the bagels and pumpkin bread for the breads?

I'm thinking of adding or replacing the mimosas with some pumpkin-y alcohol drink instead.

I always feel like breakfast meat is a pain- but maybe if I put out some cold cuts (along with the bagels) that would work?

Add a box of muffins, some cream cheese, put out some bread with a toaster. There are too many sweet things on the menu so the savory folk have fewer options.

Also, will the french toast keep ok if it's not served immediately?

If you wanted to add something, you could add deli meats and/or salmon and set it out alongside the bagels.

A warms salad sounds nice (maybe something w/ bacon and a nice vinagrette?) but I don't think it's necessary. You have crudite and fruit, so it's not like you don't have healthy options.

I'm not a big pumpkin fan, so I'd appreciate it if there were non-pumpkin options. But really, as long as there's some sort of non-pumpkin option or two, I don't expect the host to cater to every preference.

I should add, I have quite a bit of (canned) pumpkin. It will last, but given it's October... would it be weird to do some sort of really pumpkin-y theme? Or is that the sort of thing where if you don't like pumpkin, you are screwed?
