Oh, honey, I'm sorry - but you never know what will happen, so try not to lose hope altogether. Please be especially kind to yourself and your spouse right now. Sending you love, OP.

OP again--no explanation other than sometimes it happens.

Sorry Op. Did the doctor have any explanation for that?

OP here again--disappointing news. They thawed both embryos, and both of them had a cell survival rate of 50%-60%. I thought with vitrification the survival rate should have been better! We transferred both but are not too hopeful.

Good luck OP.

FWIW, our frozen transfer is the only one that worked for us - our two thawed beautifully and even though they didn't look like perfect specimens they are now thriving toddlers.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

The odds are in your favor that your embroyos will survive the thaw. Good luck and have a glass of wine before it's too late!

I was in the same position (having had previous losses and then using PGS to test embryos.) I also had 2 normal embryos and one of the two normal embryos was used and implanted- now a successful pregnancy. So it only takes one. good luck!

I am with you OP. On a break right now but it took several cycles to get a few normal embryos. Last FET failed but keeping hopes for the next one.

I've been there too, and I know it's a long and painful road. Trite as it sounds, my best advice is to let all the anxiety and grief go, and focus on welcoming those embryos into your life. Send them your love and positive energy, speak to the universe or pray if you're a praying person, and be very kind to yourself today, tomorrow and every day.

Sending you love and good energy, OP.

I am just coming off of a failed FET. We have one embryo left and hope to try again next month and I just want to say that I can completely commiserate.

Hang in there. There's no reason to assume a negative outcome. Lots of people get lucky after multiple attempts.

Sending you lots of good wishes tomorrow!

Hi all, I've found this to be a really supportive forum and just have to share how I'm feeling right now. Tomorrow is our frozen transfer--we have two chromosonally normal embryos available. The last time we attempted FET we only had one embryo and it didn't survive the thaw. It was such an unpleasant experience to get undressed and ready and then get the bad news. We've done two more fresh cycles just to have these two embryos. I'm having a lot of anxiety and negative feelings that are carrying over into this next attempt. Each step is so hard in this journey!
