Fly 4-5 times a month and have done it for years. Airplanes are disgusting.

My kids have peanut allergies, so I always wipe down the tray and arm rests. The wipe is always grubby after I use it - ew.

I carry a roll of plastic cling wrap and wrap the tray table and armrests.

How would you make sure no one had a bleach reaction?

Every SINGLE time I fly, I stuff enough Clorox Wipes in a ziplock bag for the flight there and back (one per seat, per flight and two extras). Security never blinks. I've been doing this since 2005.

Sometimes people sitting nearby would give me "you're way too anal" looks, but DH has poor immunity and since I began doing this, he no longer gets sick after each flight.

Smart. The filthiest place on airplanes are the tray table and the pocket in front of you. Airlines rarely have the time to clean them.
