Try ones with a slight flare rather than full-on boot cut. They're more modern and will still be flattering to your figure.

I SO agree with this. I hate boot cut. Prefer skinny with flats or a small flare with heels. Been wearing those styles for years as they come in and out of style.

If you are really fashion forward, they are back in. Otherwise, they are not, and consider skinnies (yes, even you) or straight jeans.

That said, wear whatever the hell you feel good in.

I've seen in ads lately some long, lean flares (think worn with heels, not tennis shoes).
