The turkeys at MOM's come from Maple Lawn. They usually start taking orders in early November.

If you're in VA (or willing to drive a ways), check out Wilson Farms Meat Co in Catlett. It is a true butcher shop, not for the faint of heart, but has the best turkey I've ever eaten. Get the lamb there too, while you're at it. Warning, they only take cash, no checks or credit cards accepted.

Order from a farm not a market

I was going to order a turkey from Mom's Organic this year. Any idea when that starts up? Any other options that people love? Also doing lamb, so I don't need a big bird.
