Yes, if they HAVE to. They don't routinely have monitoring.

Just to clarify, there hasn't been a change and GW was never "closed" on the weekends. I went to them on and off between 2008 and 2013. I remember a few threads long ago, there was often a poster that would chime in and say GW didn't do procedures on the weekends. This was never the case in my experience. They are "closed" on weekends, as in the front office staff isn't there and they don't do routine appointments. But they've always done monitoring or procedures on weekends, as needed.

I remember a few threads long ago, there was often a poster that would chime in and say GW didn't do procedures on the weekends. This was never the case in my experience. I have not been a patient there in a while, but they definitely do retrievals and transfers over a weekend and they will do monitoring if it's necessary. They will try to schedule around the weekend for monitoring if possible. I.e., they have you come on Friday and Monday for monitoring if you're early on in your cycle and have just started stimming.

Been thinking about consulting with Dr. Frankfurter, but read in an older thread that they do not monitor or retrieve during weekends.
