Hi, I used Asian Egg Donation back in 2010 -- everything went smoothly and fairly quickly, and it resulted in pregnancy (and birth of a wonderful son) after one transfer. I thought it was helpful to find out more information about the donor ahead of time and AED had quite a large number of potential donors. Good luck!

Op here. Thank you so much for writing. Congrats on you little one! Do you remember how much your treatment with them cost? Also, it looks like they don't let you see the donors profile, but they pick someone for you based on your desires and wishlist. Did that bother you at all? I've been looking at donor sites that let you see pictures, and read about the donor on your own. Having someone describe the donor's physical features to me versus seeing a picture sounds difficult. Thanks again in advance.

Do you know what clinic you are going to use? And what their donor pool is like? We ended up going with CWRC in NYC in part because their in house donor pool is so good and they will look for a donor for you if they don't have someone already for no extra charge. We didn't need this, but our coordinator said that they have contacts in different ethnic communities in NY for when they need a specific donor.

It might not be more expensive to have to travel for the cycle if you save money not needing an agency.

Good luck with your donor egg cycle. Using donor eggs was a great decision for us. We have the most amazing one year-old now after many years of waiting.
