The parrot had a chip. Our cockatoo has a chip. PP#2, have your friends take the macaw to a vet and see if it has a chip! It usually is in the breastbone, but this parrot had it in the leg. Our cockatoo has it on her back, between her shoulders.

I saw this story and thought it was hilarious!!! So happy the original owner has his pet back. And, so funny the pet is bilingual now (kind of)!!!!

My best friend and her husband found a macaw in their backyard in NEPA. They're trying to find the owners.

They've been told they can fly long distances, so the owners are probably not from Scranton.
