NP - It's actually a great upscale lifestyle magazine with a Southern focus. Fantastic recipes and food-related articles, and lots of info about independent artists/craftspeople. The "gun" is usually one article, usually hunting-related - they are very focused on sustainability, eat what you kill, etc. it's not exactly Guns and Ammo magazine.
Yep. It's a food & cooking magazine more than anything else. I read it for the food and the music. There's generally also one gun article, one "good dog" article, a feature on a celebrity with Southern roots (usually, but not always, an actor), a "where to eat" regional profile, something on sustainable agriculture, pieces on gardening, fashion or architecture, upcoming regional events, and a humor column by Roy Blount Jr. (the "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" guy).
It's the only magazine left that I think is much better in print than online.
