I have a shawl but yes, I want a rocking chair!!!
Great for rocking my newborn in, too!

Nah, put the rocking chair on your porch so you can yell at the neighbor kids to get off your lawn.

No, you don't. You've gotten the amnesia that makes you forget the first 18 months. I had my son at 40 (single mom by choice) and I say all the time "boy I wish I had kids at 30. I'm tired" Love my som, get it all done, but there's no way I'd start over now (I'm 48)

Ok, here are some good reasons:
1. Child will have sibling
2. I may get my finances in order this year or next year
3 If #2 happens, better to have newborn at 50 instead of 53
4. I'm a great mom
5 I'm open to moving where it's cheaper/where I can get support
6 DC wants a sibling

True. And maybe they are poor sick and lonely because they have spent a lifetime thinking about their wants rather than considering the needs of their kids

Perhaps you'd like to establish an infant care service. Babysit? Back up newborn many?

Why would you list all the things you don't have going for you and then ask this question unless you were just looking to start a nasty thread?
