Zengo. They have quite a few vegetarian options: http://www.richardsandoval.com/zengodc/uploads/menus/zengodc-lunch.pdf

Fiola is my favorite, though it is pricey. I also love Tosca (the Italian place, not the tapas place). I also recommend Central. If you want to splurge, go for the lobster burger. They have lower priced items as well, including a lunch deal.

You could try Penn Commons, which just recently opened near Gallery Place. Fun, trendy decor, good drinks. The food I had there was good but not amazing.

Just need some quick suggestions for an impromptu anniversary lunch with DH- we work in Chinatown and L'Enfant and can meet anywhere in between. We've eaten at:

Zaytinya
Proof
Ping Pong Dim Sum
Matchbox
Rasika (probably too pricey and not quick enough today)
Cuba Libre
Graffiato
Shake Shack

Must have vegetarian options. I LOVE Daikaya but DH isn't a soup/ramen person at all (boo).

Thanks!
