I love waterford at times, but that kind of frilly crap is annoying. Modern is the way to go in my opinion. But maybe your husband is 70 or lives in the exurbs. What do I know?

Waterford Double Old Fashioned


I was going to suggest those as well. Classics. I have them and they are nice because they feel substantial.


+1 waterford is great. They have a few different styles (mine are very similar from Bloomingdales) and as a bourbon drinker myself, weight of the glass is important and isn't found in the less "spendy" brands (can we please retire that word, already?)

Those are super spendy. You can get very nice glasses at much lower cost.

We can't give you specific brands because we don't know what styles he likes. It is a glass. The type that should be used are low ball glasses. Does he like simple, ornate, clean lines? You know that better than we do!
