KIR can point to implantation issues and that has nothing to do with the genetics of the embryo. PP listed some really good resources.

DE does not bypass the HLA issues. HLA issues exist between the protein in the sperm and the protein in the uterus.

I have been reading the posts about immune issues/tests and have a question. Could someone please explain what HLA and KIR testing are? Are they genetic tests for the mother? I am using donor egg, so are these tests something that I should look into? Or would they only apply to OE? (Apologies if some of this info is out there on the web; I often find the "plain English" explanations of DCUMers more helpful.)
