I avoid Target like the plague. It is amazing to me that we make so much and spend so much.

Ha, if we don't spend, then no body needs to work any more. Life will be boring.

Not only do I spend it fast, but I also spend it on things I don't even enjoy! Just dropped $750 on car repairs.

Pet costs! I just ordered almost $200 worth of meds, food and crap....

Yes, it's ridiculous how quickly it seems to go out the window. $20 here and there, two trips to Target, Amazon Prime... That free 2 day shipping...

Always.

We were all set to do pretty well in our savings this month. Then the washer died and our car needed $1200 in repairs.

Bye bye savings.

Yes. We have no mortgage or childcare costs, and we still spend about $10K a month. Shocking.

I'm always proud when I go an entire day without spending anything. Then I remember all the bills that automatically got paid....

Oh, to be fair, I also bought the following on craig's list: a patio set (teak table and 6 chairs), 4 real-wood kitchen chairs, and a bike (for me to ride with our 5 year old). There were all great deals, added up to $200, total. I still need a desk so I can work better from home, but that will have to wait.

If you would of told me ten years ago my current salary I would of jumped in glee and imagined an entirely different life! Here is a breakdown of my day and how many "unexpected" expenses I had.

1.) Had to get a helmet for DC 1's preschool aftercare program $20
2.) Had to pick up Rx for DH $34
3.) Had to pick up dry-cleaning $78
4.) Received a dentist invoice $212
5.) Screwed my diet and got a chick fil a milkshake and a sandwich at lunch $8

It was a very non eventful day where I didn't really do any real "shopping" that still cost me over 300 bucks. Another day, another dollar, another bill!
