Go to the pike and rose farmers market in north Bethesda Saturday. They have a French bakery with amazing baguettes. Cash only (just that shop). I don't remember the name.

La Madeleine, Whole Foods and St Michel Bakery in Rockeville have the best baguettes!

I'm hosting a French exchange student for a few weeks who is really missing baguettes. Anyone know of where I can get a good one that will be pretty similar to what he gets at home? I'm in Silver Spring-ish area, the closer the better but will travel for a good one!
