I think Lemon Road is the only school mentioned so far that is an AAP center.

School sizes can be kind of misleading in Fairfax because of the AAP program. Some schools are small for K-2 but then get larger for grades 3-6 if they're a center school. Some schools are larger for K-2, but then get smaller because a large percentage of the population leaves for AAP in grades 3-6.

And you can always be part of a program that gets you in a small sub-set of the school. For example language immersion - yes our school has 900 students, but my kids were with the same 60 kids for most of their years.
