It really is red. I have the Hemnes red dresser in my boys bedroom and love it.

I bought great red night stands from Home Goods for about that price. And I didn't have to put them together

It's red and they have some amazing storage space. I bought a dresser at world market and one at pier 1 for guest bedrooms. Bought he ikea one for myself because of all the storage space. Also have some malm dressers and they are 10 years old. Perfect shape still and used daily. Those have moved cross country twice and two local moves.

We have the dresser-it is kind of a dusty red, definitely red.

Don't own them personally, but yes, they are painted a reddish orange.

I'm thinking of buying a couple things online from IKEA but can't tell if the Hemmes is red or just a wood that has a redish hue about it but is really more brown than red. Anyone know? I want something that looks like it's been painted red- like this

Theoretically they should be the same color but on my monitor they are totally different.
