And which one is your company that rivals Apple?Anonymous wrote:Why is the dream to work at Apple? That is for foreigners. Shouldn't the dream be to start your own company to rival Apple?
Not the OP but get off your sanctimonious high horse. Nobody said San Jose State is on par with HYP. It is you who is drawing your own erroneous conclusions. The fact is that Apple has chosen these grads, and numerically are the majority alum.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:And Harvard and Yale didn't make the list. Not putting down HYP, not at all! But they are not the be-all and end-all of post-college employment picks.
For a $600 billion company like Apple, there are other players in the game. Thumbs up to Apple!

well that's just dumb; obviously all the schools on the list are clustered around Apple's headquarters in Silicon Valley. What? You think San Jose St. is now on par with Harvard and Yale because it has the most employees at Apple?![]()

And for those of you who don't know, San Jose State, which is on both lists, and #1 in the Apple list, is actually a CA state university, not part of the UC (Cal, UCLA) system.
Someone posted a while ago whether to have their DC go to Cal or UMD for computer science. If your goal is to work in SV, then schools in CA is the way to go.
