I used recipes from the Thriving Home blog when I was doing freezer meals before I had my third. My kids are fairly picky, but everyone liked the herbed chicken burgers, the burrito pie, and the asian lettuce wraps (like of like moo shu with ground turkey). I also did a couple of Mac and cheeses using Martha's recipe. This blog was one of the few places where I found healthy freezer meals that also tasted good. Lots of variety too.

Baked ziti/lasagna/red meat sauce/chicken or eggplant parmesan

Minestrone soup or some sort of winter squash soup

Chicken breasts baked with onion, garlic, herbs, lemon juice and olive oil - serve with rice and vegetable

Or just get some rotisserie chicken, tortillas, cheese and make quesadillas.

Hi all, I'm having surgery soon and will be laid up in bed for a little over a week. Want to make a bunch of freezer meals that DH can put in the oven to cook while he deals with our 2 year old. There are Sooo many recipes online so hoping some people have some great tried and true recipes. Would like to keep it fairly healthy and DH is allergic to seafood
