I'd bring bathrobes maybe. It was really cold out of the water, though we were there in Feb so maybe that's why. And I wouldn't eat in the restaurants again. It felt like we were being fleeced. I am not averse to spending a lot on meals if they are convenient, but the food was just pathetically bad.

Wear your swimsuit under your clothes the day you arrive. The locker room is small and chaotic.

Their pool towels are flimsy. Bring some of your own.

+1 Sal's by Victor is an amazing and family friendly italian restaurant.

And bring numerous swim suits. The only thing worse than putting on a cold damp suit on is trying to get one on your kids!

after checking in, cal the front desk and say your room smells musty and ask to be moved, they will give you a better room, btw it will smell like a wet blqnket in the room so they are used to this or just request to be in the new wing.

kids wil love it the parents will look at each other and say once, we only need to do this once.

Definitely bring your own food for breakfast and lunch. Then drive into Williamsburg for dinner. The food at GWL is awful. With that problem solved, you'll have a great time! My kids loved it.

My 3 and 5 year old kids have blast there this summer.

If they get cold in the water, look for the kids hot tub. It's kind of hidden away behind the wave pool.

Bring your own breakfast and snacks. The food there is expensive! And the food served at the pool is really kind of crappy. The food in the buffet restaurant wasn't bad, but it was pricey. Each room comes with a microwave and refrigerator.

The water park is great. There are other really expensive activities (like the magic wand game) so try to get your kids to focus on how much fun the the "free" stuff is (like the pool and the nightly dance party/story time in the lobby).
