Did you ever think that it's just not a phone? It's a device that happens to have a phone.

Maybe instead of the kids, we just keep some parents away from technology. God forbid they do something dangerous with it and keep us "rolling down the hill."

Allowing them to use WiFi in school doesn't change a thing for kids. Kids can already access internet on their cellphones if they have a data plan.

Parents are blindly thinking technology is great without considering appropriate limits.
Same goes with schools. Rushing out and buying tech without really thinking thoughtfully about how to integrate it into the class.

I already have a problem with my daughtr spending too much time on her phone. Why are they opening up this door in school. She needs to read with out being distracted by the texting.

We should get really hysterical about basic technology that our kids are growing up surrounded by and post threads to DCUM!

Are our kids going to be distracted? Does this make sense? Will ithelp their education. We parents need to consider this issue!
