If you are a Jewish family, why on earth would you send your kid there? And by refusing to even acknowledge Rosh Hashanah, what does it say about Landon's ability to recognize/respect diversity?
You just "noticed" something on the web calendar of a school that you're not affiliated with? You seem obsessed with Landon, and with doing anything you can to badmouth the school. Your behavior says so much more about you than it does about Landon.

Ever heard of Rob Pannell? In terms of current students, Landon has a 9th grader who just committed to Johns Hopkins whom I believe is Jewish.

DC #1 went to a school that had a small Jewish population and did not give the day off. So what, DC took the day off to attend services and all the teachers were helpful and understood. DC #2 goes to a school with a fair number of Jewish students and gives the day off -- otherwise a lot of students would be absent.

If this is important to you, then look into those.Anonymous wrote:They get an "excused" absence, however all of my DS' teachers still assigned homework. My other DS at another private had NO homework because of the holidays. I have to say we were a bit surprised......
