But you do tip wait staff at a restaurant, and maybe leave a tip at a hotel for the cleaning crew. I don't see it as that different.
I used to have one person who cleaned my house by herself and not part of a business. In that case, since she was "self-employed", I didn't tip. If I break it down, she was making about $25/hr. But the people I have now are part of a company, and they are probably getting paid minimum wage, so I do tip a little.
