Subject: FIELD SCHOOL: HIDDEN GEM?
There are many threads about the Field School. Just do a search. As pp have said, not hidden at all.

Mother of two Field students here -- definitely a gem, but not hidden. Admissions has spiked recently.
Languages: Spanish, latin and french. Sports tend to be inclusive (I don't think they make cuts in any sport) so they aren't a powerhouse but cross country and track seem to be stand out sports there.
They seem to have some kind of magic formula where the kids are challenged but love going to school every day. I've never had either child complain that they don't want to go to school.

Not even remotely hidden, but certainly a gem.

Not really hidden - it's right there on Foxhall Road. Not much in terms of athletic offerings, if that is something of importance. It is a fine little school.

Starting the high school search process with my DC. Don't know much about Field, but it keeps coming up and I checked out their site. Pretty cool, but wondering what it's really like to go there and what kind of kid does best? I can't tell the range of sports they offer, nor can I tell what language selections the kids will have. Definitely sparked our interest and we'll check it out, but would really appreciate any first hand information or perspective. Thank you!
