Just starting this year, Longfellow has combined all of its GE and Honors classes, because "only about 10 kids" were signing up for GE.

The link proves my point that no middle schools in FCPS have "all honors." Thoreau had all honors for science and history only, not for other subjects.

No, Kilmer offers AAP, honors, and regular classes as well.

Thanks, I'll have to search through posts here later to find the FCPS MS with just honors.

Found the post -- references Thoreau:

Ther are some ES in McLean that use the AAP curricuum in all classes, maybe that is what you are remembering.

You are mistaken. There is no such thing as a middle school in FCPS that is all honors. They are all public schools, and they all must offer general ed as well as honors, even if they have an AAP program.

Longfellow is just like any other FCPS middle school. There are AAP classes, Honors classes, regular classes, and special education classes.

Yes, the principal has no general Ed classes. Students are grouped into honors classes with support.

No. And do you mean AAP? AP doesn't start until high school.

Is it true there are no general Ed classes at Longfellow and they only offer Honors and AP classes?
