Subject: what form of Retin A do you use and why?
Renova because it comes in an emollient base, so your skin isn't all peel-y and yucky at first. I still use a moisturizer, but it is the formulation that is least rough on my skin.

I have been using Refissa (tretinoin .05% in an emollient base). It is very expensive and I will probably ask for generic next time and use a heavy moisturizer over it.

You're right. I guess I should be asking what type of retinoid people are using and why. Tazorac is a retinoid.

I know there are different strengths but there are also different forms (gel v. cream) and different types, which I don't understand, like tretinoin and Tazorac.
