I decided to go with preparing a quick mousse. Thanks all. I had it on my radar but didn't want to mess with the eggs. I found a great recipe without and can whip this up in no time.

No, not the instant pudding, but their Belgian Chocolate pudding in the refrigerator case. It's fabulous, and if you read the ingredients you will understand why. I might even lighten the texture a little by adding some whipped cream before putting it in.

That does not sound inviting at all! Sorry. I would never serve that to guests. I'd go with the chocolate mousse...or just buy good chocolate and serve it with fruits. Yummy...or even dip pineapple spears, strawberries orange slices or pears in melted chocolate. That, my dear, your guests will remember!

NP here. It's actually quite good for such a simple recipe. Have you tried it?

Lol, to each their own, I guess. Your thing sounds unappealing to me. Like it wouldn't taste that good and like the host was trying to come off as fancy.

Chocolate mousse. Very easy, but it does need to be made far enough in advance to chill before serving. Serve with whipped cream on top, and chocolate shavings if you want to get fancy.

I am in desperate need of a quick chocolate dessert that I can whip up. I'm serving duck breast as a main course. Thanks
