I wouldn't go for anything. It used to be awesome, but they were bought by the chain that owns McCormick & Schmick and have gone way downhill.

The Palm is an institution - I think clients like that.

I agree that it's nicer now, but still far from "nice". It would not impress international clients, and they rush you out of there.

Bourbon Steak at the Four Seasons in Georgetown.

Have you checked Tom Sietsema in the Post for his steak recs? I've only eaten at Morton's and it was awesome, but I can't speak for the many other options.

Unfortunately we're limited to a restaurant in DC. The clients really want to do DC tonite.

How about BLT?

I've never done either actually. Maybe I'll give one a try.

I need to make a res for a business dinner (tonite) at a steakhouse. Where can I get the best steak you ever had in DC? I never tried Bobby Van's or Smith and Wollensky's. I love Prime Rib. My fave was Sam & Harry's but I guess it's closed now. We can do a local or chain restaurant - doesn't matter, because it's international clients.
