There's a cough like this going around. Our whole family got it, and we had more wheezing than normal. The cough also was pretty wet/productive, and lasted for about a month. In our DD, it only went away after she went on albuterol. Everyone else kicked it on their own.

Same for me. I was diagnosed with asthma at 35, but it only flairs up if I get sick.

go to an ER if you arent getting better. You need the inhale, but also oral steroids.

I have had this happen on a couple occasions, really severe allergies and a nasty head cold that turned into bronchitis. The albuterol inhaler really helps.

I had this from my allergies. Ended up starting singulair. It helps tremendously. My cough was so bad it woke me up in the middle of the night and sometimes I would cough until I threw up. My allergies aggravated my long silent asthma. It was terrible. yay for singulair.
