Rice pudding uses a lot of milk.

Zoku specifically says it is not for pudding pops. Sorry OP!

But, we did it with cookies and cream bars... broken up oreos with milk! Worked great with the Zoku!

Please share the recipe. My kid would love this.

You can just freeze the milk. You probably will have to use it up quicker than you would otherwise after it defrosted, but it's doable.

Otherwise,

cream style soup
pancakes and waffles (replace water with milk - these freeze easy)
Freeze in ice cube tray and drop into smoothies (in fact, my in-laws freeze milk often and then defrost before adding to recipes - they claim it tastes fine)
Quiche

Cream style soups will probably separate once you thaw.

Great ideas! Thanks everyone. I am thinking either paneer, cottage cheese, yogurt or freeze for smoothies (I hadn't thought of that before).

What about making paneer? Or panna cotta?

Make homemade mac and cheese. You can make a big batch and freeze half.

I make a bechamel sauce (roux of butter and flour, then add milk to make a gravy), then add a lot of shredded cheese, any seasonings of choice and then the pasta. If I plan to freeze it then I add extra milk to make it looser so that there is more moisture available when you thaw/reheat it.

How about some type of chowder? Corn, fish, etc.

I have a gallon of organic milk in the fridge (2%) that I want to use up before we go on vacation. I'm thinking something I can make and freeze, like baked oatmeal or something. Any ideas?
