Wondering about this as well. I've thought about sisal but am wondering about cost.

My stairs are currently completely covered with an ugly carpet.
I would like to have this carpet removed and replaced with a runner.
Is there a specific style that is more trendy right now?
How much should I expect to pay for a good quality runner?
