scalloped potatoes. Always a big hit, albeit, not as healthy as a side salad. I use the recipe from the Silver Palate Cookbook that I've had for years. Sometimes I'll add ham, but it depends on the dietary requirements of the party.

Oh damn that sounds good! Is it still tasty at room temp? Or does it need to be served warm?

PP here -- the tart is tasty at any temp! I've served it hot and at room temp to rave reviews, and eaten the leftovers straight out of the fridge the next day. Highly recommend!

What else is being served? Do you need a main or just an appetizer?

This dip is really simple, goes with tortilla chips, crackers, and veggies, and is the first thing to run out when we serve it.

Need something very easy and tasty to make to serve around 10 people. Preferably not too unhealthy.
