Thanks for the stats, PP!

Stats on CCS (5-day testing) from CCRM. These are, of course, from their facility. Most facilities likely don't do the volume to have meaningful statistics on this particular procedure.

Some info and data on 3-day PGD:

Also, ask your RE. I'm out of this game several years, but they will know the most up to date research and stats. My REs could always spout all of this off the top of their heads pretty much.

Where are you all finding these statistics?

OP, if you look at the stats on 3-day PGD v 5-day PGD, 3-day PGD does not increase chance of success unless there is some known pre-existing condition (i.e., your screening for a known disorder you or partner are a carrier for). 5-day PGD does increase chances quite a bit.

I did PGD on day three embryos - mostly because I was 41 and by day 3 had 28 embryos. Of those 28, only 4 came back as genetically normal. I transferred one and got pregnant on my first try.

It helped me get pregnant- I had one failed IVF due to a trisomy. I had five frozen. I tested the five and two were normal. Now in second trimester with one of the normal embryos. I really recommend it for people who have or can get at least 4-5 blasts. Sometimes people bank blasts- so you do two IVFs in a row to get more to test.

It helped me. I had one child from IUI and several failed attempts at IVF for a second. First time I did PGD, I got pregnant with my second.

I did the testing on 5-day embryos where they test more chromosomes . I believe some places call it CCS or CGH?

My RE at SG said I have a 70% chance of success with my normal embryos, I have my transfer next week, fingers crossed!

The stats on the Ivigen website look impressive especially for women of AMA, but it would be good to hear some real life stories.

It helps given you don't have any other issues within your body. I am interested in knowing how many attempts did women do to get pregnant with genetically normal embryos.

I've 2 failed IVF's and am thinking about having PGS done on our remaining frozen embroys. Did anyone have success after having their embryos tested?
