I wod not tent them. The foil will collect condensation. Just leave them uncovered.

Thanks - letting them cool for a few minutes now then will cool them on a tray, tented. House smells fabulous!

While in the pan? I have parchment paper in there - I can easily pull them out.


Then let it cool for 5-10 mins and pull them out. Lightly tent with foil, but make sure to leave some of the sides unsealed so the heat/steam can escape.

Unless you have a house full of flies there is no reason not to leave uncovered. Cover in the morning.

I've got some loaves in the oven now (banana bread) - they'll be in til 10, and I want to go to sleep! How do I let them cool? If I put foil over them, will they turn to mush? I don't want to leave them uncovered either though... What to do?
