Would your son enjoy getting into Boy Scouting which has a lot of outdoor related activities and skills-building?

Every sport everyone listed is pathetic. Tell your son to stop being a puss and play a real sport like football.

Where does your son do this? I think my DC might like this kind of thing.

I think there is a track and field program for Montgomery County kids - the Firebirds Track Club, maybe?

My son (who I forgot to say is non-athletic just like yours, in the sense that he says he doesn't like sports and won't play soccer, baseball, basketball, etc.) takes classes at Dynamite Agility Center. He used to do the gymnastics when he was younger, but not, at age 8, likes the agility. They do obstacle courses, trampoline, and 'strength', which is a hoot to watch because my son can barely do a single sit up but gets a great elbow workout pushing himself up to do 50 of them at agility class! Like I said, he loves it.

Trying to find something active for my 9 year old who is nit interested in team spirits. He's taken tennis, was ok with that. Took individual swim lessons for awhile. Wondering if there are running options fir boys. I see girls on the run all over but not much for boys. His school does not seem to have running/track stuff.
