I saw an Ellen spoof this morning, and since I'd heard reference to the video a few times, I decided to google it. After watching about 30 seconds, I got really depressed. At about a minute, I had to turn it off.

1) she took a fun song from my youth (even if it meant the same thing, it wasn't nearly as hard-core) and turned it into a nasty, dirty experience.

2) I am so sad I'm going to have to shield my son from such graphic crap music and videos. Friday Night Videos and early MTV bring back great memories for both me and my husband. Is this played on MTV without any warnings or ratings?

3) what is this slippery slope (made slippery by coconut milk made to look like cum, I might add) that our world is on? Were our grandparents as appalled by Elvis' hips as I am by all this twerking stuff?

4) ok, I am a little sad my ass will never look juicy.
