That is great to hear, thank you! Both my sister and girlfriend are shocked at how early I got a positive and googling has frightened me a bit with ecoptics. Hopefully this one sticks and in the right place!

When will people learn that a line, even if faint, or dark, is still a line? It says that on the box

Yes, got good strong betas. Healthy baby so far at 14 weeks. Even if you know ovulation date it can be affected by when fertilization occurred and then when implantation occurred. Good luck!

Well here is today's 8dpo test. Still so much darker than a lot of what I see around the internet and it has me so worried something is wrong! I got my first beta today so I guess we will see what happens. I'm on progesterone so I'm not sure if that can make a difference. Has anyone else had darker tests early?

This is OP. I was temping so I know exactly when I ovulated (the 1st) unless fertility friend was wrong, which it never has been. The chart was pretty clear so I don't think it was wrong. I guess maybe it's a fluke it implanted so early?

there's no way there's a detectable level of a HcG at 7dpo, so your dates are off, but a line is a line, so you're pregnant, but probably just 9DPO or so. your embryo only hatches out of its blastocyst shell on day 6, and implantation occurs around days 7/8, and they start releasing HcG around day 9 or 10. i know this from IVF history

Your dates might be slightly off as implantation doesn't usually occur until 8dpo, but a line is a line--congrats.

Sorry I am locked out of my photobucket account but did find this person:

My test is just a smidge darker than hers. She's 9 weeks now so I guess it is ok.

I am absolutely sure of my dates because I temp so I am definitely 7dpo. I had a huge below coverline temp crash yesterday morning at 6 dpo so last night, just for fun, I took a test last night and it was so faint I had to squint and put it in the light and thought I was seeing things or it was an evap. I was cross eyed to see it.

This morning my temp shot back up so I tested again in curiosity. BFP! The test line is lighter than the control line but still fairly dark in contrast to what I see in google images for 7dpo and a huge change from the test last night. It's definitely there, definitely pink, and you can hold it arms length away and clearly see it to give you an idea. Is this normal? I have 2 consecutive miscarriages under my belt so I am super paranoid....
