What does "rank of difficulty median composite median SAT verbal and math" mean.
The numbers range from 2330-2700- This has no correlation to SAT scores.
+1. The highest possible SAT score is 2400 (math + verbal + essay). DC's friend got into Michigan (great school!) with SATs of 2100. Michigan's acceptance rate is something like 32%, not 40%. Nor can you say something like, 40% of students admitted to Michigan have SATs of 2700, because nobody can get SATs of 2700. So I don't get these figures.
It is the addition of high/low range of median entrance scores math and verbal. 4 numbers.

Anonymous wrote:This is misleading bc the acceptance rates includes all instate applicants for all majors. And recruited jocks. Not just the math majors. The valedictorian from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin who will play varsity volleyball and major in early childhood ed is included in that % for Wisconsin. etc
