For the real old fashioned classic look (that PPs are referring to as bulky) go to Brooks Brothers. I can't imagine wearing one of those with jeans though. For a more modern, less version I agree with J Crew. I have one by Bonby Jones (golf clothes designer) that's kind of a hybrid. Ralph Lauren might also have options.

I agree. Think about Kate Middleton and her tiny blazers. That's the right look. The old fashioned "classic" navy blazer looks dated.

I like a theory also, but would not consider it "decently priced" for most people. A blazer would probably run upwards of 300$. That, to many is a lot of money!

Theory also makes well cut, decently priced navy blazers. At least they did a couple years ago.
