But don't you have to remove the cover, wash, and then stuff the duvet back in every time you do the laundry? It takes me forever to stuff my queen size duvet back into the duvet cover and then do up all the buttons. Throwing a flat sheet on takes me seconds in comparison. Am I doing something wrong?

LOL! I always put it right side up, but my cleaning lady puts it upside down. Both my husband and I had never seen it upside down before, so we were also wondering if anyone else does this. I guess we never noticed because we usually solid sheets, but my MIL recently bought patterned sheets for my son, so this is the first time its come up.

You know I have always wondered this myself, but have never thought to ask anyone. Like I wonder it for like two seconds when I put it on my bed, then instantly forget as I cover it with my comforter.

I put the flat sheet on right side up because at the top where I fold it over, it is designed where the part that folds over has some of the right side still showing. Make sense?

Upside down, so the finished side of the fabric is against the skin.

Right side up and fold it over. Most of our sheets don't have patterns that would make a difference.

We don't use flat sheet either. I have an entire linen closet of beautiful flat sheets, some I've used as tablecloths!

I used to do it upside down so when I folded it over the "correct" side was showing but I don't fold over now. I have a huge quilt on top. Same with my kids' beds.

I put it on right side up. We don't fold it back when making it but instead pull it up tight and straight.

Do you put the flat sheet on upside down so when you fold over the top it is has the pattern with the right side up or do you put the flat sheet on right side up?
