I will guarantee that you are both happier with this arrangement. Good for you!!!

Do you really think anyone is paying that much attention to you?

Really?

I guess, in the interest of not losing any time with your kid, you didn't bother to read the post.

Right?!
Snarky pp, she is picking him up AFTER SCHOOL.

OP, it's fine.

If you think you'll be self-conscious, splash some water on your face and neck, slip on a headband and smooth out ponytail, and change your shirt real quick in the car! Freshened up a bit.

i was waiting for the annoying self-righteous post...

not only self righteous, but a reading comprehension fail, as OP didn't say anything about sacrificing time with her child (who is IN SCHOOL) to work out.

although, I have no issues admitting that I sacrifice time with my kids (if you count 6-7 am quality time!) to work out. My 2 and 4 year old know that Mommy exercises, and we have discussed why exercise is a healthy habit.

Yeah but it's not like I'm going into her classroom or anything. I wait at the edge of the gate.

Do your thing and get your workout in. It's fine to do pickup like that.

I take a class at work, and there are no showers here! I use baby wipes and try not to schedule a meeting right after.

picking up at school? Absolutely.

I want to take a class at the gym tomorrow but I won't have time to shower afterward before picking up my son from school. I'll be very red and sweaty. Is this completely socially unacceptable? I always shower before school pickup but he gets out early tomorrow.
