45 calories for 2 Tbsp, which is a large serving considering it is a dried powder. The taste is smoothies or sauces is pretty much like regular peanut butter as it is just peanuts with the fat taken out. If you are using it as PB substitute with fruit or sandwiches it tastes different than regular peanut butter, but still good and satisfying IMO. It is with the rest of the peanut butter at supermarkets that carry it.

Uh, why don't you just use peanut butter?

It sounds horrific in "real foods," but I hate measuring real peanut butter for smoothies, so I might give it a go for that.

It's great in smoothies, but agree to just use regular PB on apple slices, sandwiches, etc.

I think it's like the fake fat-free frozen yogurt on Seinfeld. I measured it out and entered it in MFP and still somehow gained a few pounds the week I started using it in smoothies.

I think I've seen it at Harris teeter too. Tho don't quote me on that. I added it to smoothies with almond milk, spinach, frozen banana, and a little Greek yogurt.
