Berries, sweetened with a touch of sugar and left to sit for an hour while we eat dinner to get all sweet and juicy. Top with a bit of whipped cream or ice cream.

Boil semolina flour (get it from a Russian store) in cranberry juice til soft. Add sugar if you want to but the juice is already sweet. Put the "porridge" into fridge to cool. Once it's cold whip it with mixer til it's nice and soft like thick cream or mousse. Serve cold with milk in the same bowl.
This time of year I would do fruit crumbles. For example, peaches (peeled) sliced up tossed with a bit of sugar, corn starch and lemon juice. Put in pyrex dish. Topping of oats, nuts (if you like), brown sugar and a bit of butter pulsed in a food processor. Spread over top of peaches. Bake at 350 until bubbly. You can do it with lots of different fruits and the fruit in season is so sweet that you really don't need much sugar. Like 2 TBS for the peaches and maybe a 1/4 c of brown sugar to 1 -1 1/2 oats.

Looking for some (somewhat) healthy desserts that we can make at home, and are still tasty & satisfying. Doesn't have to be super 100% nutritious, but not total overindulgence either. What kinds of health(ish) dessert recipes have you tried that you like and recommend?
