People seem to hate/love her, but I get a lot from the Pioneer Woman and alter some of the recipes. Also, Smitten Kitchen tends to pop up a lot when I search for recipes and I end up getting a lot from there. Also, I like Iowa Girl Eats. I'd say these are the three I frequent most consistently.

+1 for David Leibovitz.

Love Oh She Glows. I'm not vegan, but her stuff kicks butt.

Smitten Kitchen
Skinny taste
Nom nom paleo

I find it matters a little what I'm doing, because I rely on different bloggers or sites for different things. I'm kind of eclectic with food, dabbling in vegan, paleo, hard core "regular" baking...

Not blog, but I love me some Chow / Chowhound. Pretty much my go to. And the Fresh Loaf is my new addiction, but they make me a little scared.

Saveur.com +1
The English Kitchen
Simply Recipes
BBC Good Food
Lost Recipes Found
British Food in America
Hairy Bikers

I love to read Smitten Kitchen but rarely make anything from there so can't really count it.

I use the Cooking Light site. We love eating out, so whe I cook at home, I try to keep it healthy.

Have you tried the Yummly app for iPad? Free- with recipes from different sites depending on what you want to cook.

Full proof recipes that take forever and a day, use Cooks Illustrated. If I were cooking something unfamiliar for a dinner party or potluck, I wouldn't use anything but a Cooks Illustrated dish.

3rd Smitten Kitchen: I even bought her cookbook. Also The Crepes of Wrath, The Kitchn and Serious Eats.

what are your favorite food/cooking blogs that you actually cook from? There are some I love to look at for the droolworthy pictures, but will never make anything from (Love and Lemons...Kevin and Amanda...) and there are blogs I've made things from (skinny taste, damn delicious).
