Only 7 episodes but was good. I think the nuns from "Call the Midwife" prayed for it to end because of the abortion angle.

I actually didn't think it was all that great.

Just read about that And I wanted to start it but I hate getting into a show only to find out it's not going to be renewed.

Agree! I don't think it's going to last. Doesn't have the charm of "Midwife" and the abortion line is going to get old fast. Glad Wallender is back. Vera is also very good when it's on.

Just watched part of it in my new attempt to get in shape on a treadmill in front of the TV. I liked it.

Breathless is like the anti-Call the Midwife.
Both are great.
Also Wallender is back. Love the brooding Swedish thing done by a brooding Brit.

Never heard of it, but I just watched a little online with lunch. A far cry from "Call the Midwife," but I think I like it. I'm desperate for something to watch (to tide me over to the new TV season in a month) and I hope this fits the bill.

I watched the first episode last night. No spoilers but great show and cast. 1960s London hospital obstetrics gynecology ward with many changes in how women are treated. Anyone else?
