Subject: What to put in the return basket?
Include in the note an "I owe you" for an hour of weeding or whatever they need in the garden that you or kids can do.

+1-- I know a lot of people with more vegetables than they know what to do with, so giving it to neighbors is a nice way to keep from wasting it.

Neighbor sent over some fresh produce. Of course I want to return their basket with something in it, but I do not know these people AT ALL. No idea what they eat. We don't grow anything so it would have to be something I make or buy. Any generic ideas?
