OP here. Second thoughts because maybe it is too fussy-looking? Or am I wrong there?
I thought about a white waffle-weave or hotel-type curtain, but given the subway tile all over, it seemed like too much white.

Alternatively, Restoration Hardware usually has some nice blue gray curtain/mat colors and I would check their offerings out to see if it matched with the paint. We have a very pale blue/gray paint in our baths, with white subway tile and glass tile accents in green/blue gray and found good curtain/mat coordinates at RH.
