Thank you. It's a reform synagogue. I'd prefer something with sleeves and preferably a dress. I will have to open the Ark, help carry the Torah, dress and undress the Torah so I need something comfortable. Although I like the look of pencil skirts, I find them to be a bit constricting and prefer A-line. I just want something comfortable but also stylish.
For the poster who said suits with a colored blouse, I work from home. When I last worked in an office, I was business casual so my suits are old. Okay to be standing amongst the congregation. Not okay (IMO) to be standing in front of the congregation. Even though I know no one is going to be looking at what I am wearing, I am going to be self-conscious enough up there so I want to look nice and comfortable.
