I just bought this one. It's not jersey fabric at all, more formal, and very forgiving. Runs kinda big, so buy a size smaller than you think you should.

Thank you. It's a reform synagogue. I'd prefer something with sleeves and preferably a dress. I will have to open the Ark, help carry the Torah, dress and undress the Torah so I need something comfortable. Although I like the look of pencil skirts, I find them to be a bit constricting and prefer A-line. I just want something comfortable but also stylish.

For the poster who said suits with a colored blouse, I work from home. When I last worked in an office, I was business casual so my suits are old. Okay to be standing amongst the congregation. Not okay (IMO) to be standing in front of the congregation. Even though I know no one is going to be looking at what I am wearing, I am going to be self-conscious enough up there so I want to look nice and comfortable.

Can't you just wear a nice work suit with a brightly colored blouse underneath? That's what I do for HHDs.

I moved out of DC and belong to a synagogue in my new town. It is definitely not a fashion show kind of place at the high holidays (nor is the city where I live known for fashion). I usually wear a work dress to the high holidays but I now work from home so my work clothes are a little old. Normally, this would not be an issue (and I will still wear them for some services this year). But I am now on the synagogue board and I have to be on the bima for the morning of Yom Kippur. So I would like to get something new to wear that morning. Any suggestions? I am 5"0, 108 and usually wear a petite 4 or 6 depending on the brand. Thanks so much for any help!
