Oh, and as an adjunct to the above - I know many people will say that if you boil it again, it will kill the bacteria. The problem with that is it's not usually the bacteria that make you sick, but the toxins that they make, which you cannot boil away.

If you can't afford to waste 4 dollars of ingredients and can afford a few days off work, then by all means - reheat your chili and enjoy. Other than that "if in doubt, throw it out" (in this case, There is no doubt)

No - warm at 6 doesn't cut it. Needs to be hot or cold.

In a crock pot? Was it still warm at 6 am? I think it's probably fine. Heat it up again to simmering before you serve it.

Would you eat it? It was cooking until 11:00, then the heat was turned off. Put in fridge at 6 am.
