i just had one. granted i'm not diabetic, but i didn't follow a special diet days before the fast.

btw, the prep is so much better than it used to be. i did a split movi-prep. it wasn't fun, but by no means, the hellacious experience it was last time.

I suspect you know this already, but this is definitely not something for DCUMers to weigh in on. You should get specific instructions from your endocrinologist and then double-check them w/ the gastroenterologist.

Just eat lightly - doesn't matter that much what it is because it will all come out (god willing!)

I wouldn't sweat this too much. Not a lot of doctors even recommend this before the prep. If it were me, and I eat a ton of fiber, I'd just cut it down.

Eggs? Yogurt? "Sides" tend to be either high fiber (vegetables) or starchy. So not much there.

I'd think that if you do low fiber Saturday, that should be fine.

So, Monday, 3pm is the day. I'm trying to find acceptable foods to eat through Saturday. Potatoes, bananas, white rice and white bread aren't going to cut it.... I need healthier low fiber alternatives. And yes, I'll be eating skinless chicken and salmon. I just want snacks and sides that will work that are low fiber. Thanks.
